Text Box: Custom Plasmid Purification

Ana-Gen offers many varieties of plasmid purification, ranging from molecular biology to endotoxin free services. Our systems use a proprietary method to recover the plasmid yield and purification requirements intended by the researcher. Our services are flexible, and can meet the specific requirements of any scientist, academic or industrial. We work from any type of starting material, such as naked plasmid DNA, plates (dishes), glycerol stocks, agarose stabs or cell paste. See below for more details on the different types of plasmid purification services we offer.

Different Grades of Purified Plasmid DNA:

The goal of Ana-Gen's Custom Plasmid Purification Service is to provide researchers with their individual quantity and quality requirements for top performance in their downstream applications. As part of our services, we are capable of conducting all the fermentation and purification steps necessary to obtain the high quality and quantity DNA needed. Our services are convenient to use and priced reasonably. Researchers send us the DNA or cell paste, and we will do everything else necessary to meet the specific requirements from each researcher.

The Final Product:
Plasmid DNA produced by Ana-Gen has been used in preclinical research applications. The final product is free of RNA, genomic DNA and protein contamination. A picture of the plasmid DNA migrated on an agarose gel, such as that on the right, is provided with the final product, which comes labeled with the calculated quantity and lyophilized for added convenience. A Certificate of Analysis is provided with each lot of DNA.

* This total assumes that the plasmid is a high copy number, and will only require <1 liter of culture to obtain 1 mg of plasmid DNA. If the plasmid is found to be a medium or low copy plasmid, and will require more culture to obtain the yields requested, additional cost may apply. Copy numbers are measured by miniprep before large-scale purification is performed.
